Overview
Tepa Taqueria has been a longtime Stockton favorite. Burritos, tacos, enchiladas, and so much more can be found here. A definite must visit for Mexican food fans! This little hidden gem is tucked away in the corner of a little shopping center but it is not a secret to locals.
The line is usually long but the wait isn't. After you order your meal at the counter make your way over to their salsa bar and load up on the variety of salsas and grab some jalapeno peppers. The friendly staff will bring your food directly to your table. Make sure to get a fresh horchata for the kids and try their beef chimichanga or carnitas. This locally owned and operated spot is delicious!

I used to come here with family years ago so it was nice to come back. Ordered the Super Burrito. One of the best burritos in Stockton. Service is always friendly and fast. The salsa bar has a nice collection and the restaurant is clean. I found a really great torta spot in Mexico City, I need to try the tortas at Tepa to see if it compares.
The service was good and the atmosphere is nice. It’s definitely family friendly. I ordered the quesadilla and French fries kids meal for my child and 3 steak tacos and horchata. The food was good and reasonably priced.
We always eat here with my fam and we love it. Services and food is great. If you haven’t yet been here, I recommend you try them.
200/100 on taste, one of the best shrimp tacos i ever had in my entire life. Also their sopes are must My order was shrimp tacos and chicken sopes with rice and beans 🫘 The only weird thing to me was they charge extra for chips that are complementary at most of the places but for the taste you can ignore it. Keep up the good work guys.
My Daughter and my son in-law’s favorite Mexican restaurant! It is a really authentic Mexican dish here , great food but service can be dicey sometimes. We ordered total of six dishes and get change for it but they didn’t prepare for us. There always room to improve. I hope they will do better by not missing our order!
