30 Mins out from Elk Grove. They have the sweet blueberries for self pickings. $3 per pound
Just went to the farm for blueberry picking and cherry picking. Our family had a great time. They also offered rides to take us to the fields, just very helpful for us as we were going with seniors. Three dollars per pound for the blueberries. Great price. Highly recommended.
The most family friendly fresh fruits and fun to do the picking yourself during the season. I absolutely recommend to anyone they collaborate with other growers for some of the items and very reasonable prices. Love this place 😻
We went picking today in the morning, got here pretty early. Yelp & Google shows they're open at 9am but got there at 830am and they were already open. This area is pretty big, the cherries are plump, big & crunchy. We bought the red ones which is $2/lb & the yellow are $3/lb. We also got some blueberries as well too. Unfortunately the blackberries weren't ready yet. They also have other fruits but they are not ready as well.
It was our first time visiting this farm, and it was also our first blueberry picking experience. We left smiling. Being a weekday, we had the farm practically all to ourselves. Well, the blueberry section of it that is. We received two small buckets, which trust me will give you plenty of blueberries to take home. There is a $1 deposit for each bucket, cash, preferably. Then you pick your fruit. The other parts of the farm had different varieties of cherries, which is where the majority of the other guests were. We had plenty of time to harvest our blueberries and enjoy the day. When we were done picking, we went back to the front to check out. Look for Gio. He was very kind and answered all our questions. Do expect a crowd on weekends and be patient with parking. The space for parking cars is minimal, so be warned. If you are free on the weekdays, it is highly encouraged to come then. They are open from 0800-1800 in the summer. Happy picking, everyone!
